Courtney Johnson | masters candidate

Current Research:
My research has focused on testing the potential for a blind thrust beneath the Mt. Tamalpais - Marin Co. region in California. I use elastic displacement modeling to test possible geometry and orientations of faults able to produce the current elevations in the region.  Constraints on models come from observations of the surrounding tectonics, geomorphology, seismicity, and geodetics.
